Essex Woods Photos taken on May 19th. I had a chance to take a walk around the bog in Bangor yesterday. Activity was little but still an enjoyable walk. There were two different Mallard Mom’s with their babies. You could tell which was the older group as they kept straying from Mom’s side. The 2nd group stuck real close to Mom!
Listening closely (traffic noise was loud yesterday) and watching the tree tops I was able to capture shots of a couple birds I don’t see at home.
The Common Grackle is a bird seen everywhere and disliked by many but you can’t deny the beautiful colors when lit up by the sun. Too bad the sun did not shine bright when I took these two photos!
Thank you for stopping by. I hope you have enjoyed my photographs and videos, do come back again soon. Comments are always welcomed.
