January buck strolls through our Maine backyard, early this afternoon. I felt so privileged as I stood in the window and watched the White-tailed buck leisurely pass through our lower field. I found myself trying to imagine what his antlers might have looked like before he shed them.
It was snowing lightly and I had to take these photos through an un-opened window, plus they are cropped quite a bit. Just the same I find them to be another treasure added to my files.
