Osprey nest, checking for chicks this morning. Thinking it is near time, if not already, for the little ones to be hatching out, Hubby and I took a ride over to our favorite Osprey nest. When we were there on April 10th, the adults mated. I don’t know how long after mating, eggs are laid but I do know according to All About Birds that the incubation period is 36-42 days.
It was quite quiet in the nest area today. One adult was peering out at us. We did not hear peeps coming from the nest. Therefore we did not learn anything new today but will try again soon.
Thank you for stopping by. I hope you have enjoyed my photographs and videos, do come back again soon. Comments are always welcomed.
