Twilight at Lake Sebasticook in Newport. We set out early this morning, 5:30AM, for a ride to Rangeley and home again. After grabbing a coffee, we sat at the lakeside rest area for a few minutes before heading down the road. It was a pretty scene, still dark but light enough to see the fog lifting off the lake and soft horizon colors. I grabbed my Sony RX100M4 thinking I’d try out one of the nighttime options. I settled on the Hand-held twilight setting. The info read “suitable for shooting a night scene without using a tripod. Shoots continuously.” Sure enough when I pushed the shutter several shots clicked away and then it processed into one photo. One photo that I simply love. No additional editing was needed on the computer!
It was a beautiful but chilly day for an enjoyable ride. We were disappointed that the autumn colors had not popped yet, but spots here and there could be seen. Regardless the scenery was beautiful. I’ll be sharing some of the photos I took over the next few days, I do hope you will stop back by.
Thank you for stopping by. I hope you have enjoyed my photographs and videos, do come back again soon. Comments are always welcomed.
“I tried, and it didn’t work” is a lot better than “I wish I tried”
