Wind, choppy waters, good fishing at Lake Sebasticook this morning. Hubby and I sat with our coffee and muffin watching the choppy waters. We were surprised to see a lone cormorant and a lone loon out in the middle bobbing along. We watched a gull try to take off from the grass into the wind and not make it. It retreated and walked along the shore instead. Just because, I tried to capture some waves splashing but my trigger finger seemed to be slow! I think you can see how much the wind was blowing though.

Two King birds were flying about the water’s edge and landed nearby. They had quite the time staying perched. I snapped a couple photos of one.
Suddenly the lone cormorant appeared with a fish. I snapped the shutter as it swallowed his catch.
It wasn’t fifteen minutes later when the loon caught his breakfast in almost the same spot!
It was an enjoyable morning for us watching nature and good fishing for the wildlife.
Thank you for stopping by. I hope you have enjoyed my photographs and videos, do come back again soon. Comments are always welcomed.
